Aero Forge is officially incorporated. Five engineering students have come together with a shared conviction: India needs a homegrown, propulsion-driven, fixed-wing UAV platform built for real-world endurance and range.
We have begun our initial research phase, focusing on fixed-wing aerodynamics, propulsion system architectures, and the Indian regulatory landscape under DGCA Drone Rules 2021.
We are preparing our first internal technical report on fixed-wing UAV propulsion architectures — comparing electric, hybrid, and combustion configurations against our target performance envelope.
A public summary will be shared here once the report is complete.
Our first sub-scale prototype is in early planning. We are defining the airframe geometry, selecting materials, and scoping the propulsion test rig.
We will document the entire process and share updates as we progress through design and fabrication.
